Here is a sample contract for Web Development. This will be one of a short series of contracts that will be developed for open use. We want to make this contract as useful as possible for small web development companies and freelancers, so if you see anything in the contract that is incorrect, or if you feel that a change would improve the contract, please leave us a comment – this is a work-in-progress, and you comments *DO* matter.

Contract with Remuneration

This is the most frequently used type of contract. The web developer will create a website for a client, and will be paid money for doing so. There are no clauses encompassing profit sharing or equity.
